Mr. Roger Dale Minton, age 65 of Elkton, passed away on Tuesday, July 10th at his home of natural causes. He was born July 18, 1952 in Louisville, Kentucky the son of the late Oda Minton Jr. and Myrtle Gibson. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and horse racing.

He loved his family, grandchildren and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as one sister Shirley Minton. He is survived by his wife Brenda Minton of Elkton; one son William “Billy” Minton (Danielle) of Guthrie; one daughter Emily Hightower (David) of Elkton; two brothers William “Von” Minton of McHenry, Kentucky and Michael Minton of Cromwell, Kentucky and four grandchildren William “Jess”, Bailey, William “Will” and Danny “D.J.”.

Visitation with the Minton family will be on Thursday from 5:00 until Celebration of Life Service at 7:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home.
