Mr. Bobby W. Knight Sr., age 63 of Elkton, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 5th at the Hearthstone Place in Elkton of natural causes. He was born December 22, 1954 in Hopkins County, Kentucky the son of the late James Conrey and Mary Magdeline Thompson Knight.

He was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Elkton. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved his family. He loved to work on his classic car and enjoyed fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as two brothers James Allen and William Harrison Knight and three sisters Parlee Cobb, Shirley Knight and Dollie Holder. He is survived by his loving wife Margie Knight of Elkton; a son Bobby Wayne Knight Jr. of Elkton; one brother Jim Jackson Knight of Dallas, Texas; two sisters Katherine Ann DeLoach of Cadiz and Nancy Pitts of Hutchinson, Kansas; two precious grandchildren Shelby Lane Knight and Keaton Ray Johnson; his mother in law Mary Groves of Elkton and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation with the Knight family will be on Friday from 5:00 until 8:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home.

Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Bro. Irving Cummins officiating. Interment will follow at the Bells Chapel Church Cemetery.
