Eva Elizabeth Morton, age 77 of Somerset and formerly of Allensville, passed away on Tuesday, December 25th at the Skyline Medical Center in Nashville of natural causes. She was born November 23, 1941 in Todd County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Clarence Morton, Sr. and Esther Bellamy Morton. She was a member of Davis Chapel AME Church.

She was a retired teacher of special education and loved reading, traveling and working in her church. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as one brother Gene Morton. She is survived by two brothers Clarence Morton, Jr. of Allensville and Jerry Morton of Winchester, Kentucky and one sister Levanora Allison of Russellville.

Visitation with the Morton family will be on Friday, January 4th from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 at the Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Allensville with Rev. Sammy Spencer officiating.

Interment will follow at the Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery.
