Obituary for Cornelia Elizabeth “Carol” Teschendorf Cornelia Elizabeth “Carol” Teschendorf, 87, of Melrose, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center following an extended illness. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she resided in Melrose for 21 years coming from Middleburg. Carol was a homemaker and a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Interlachen.

She had volunteered at the Penny Farms Retirement Community. Carol was also a member of the American Legion Post #293 Women’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing BINGO, dancing, playing cards (Italian Rummy) and loved her animals.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Helen Kintop and 6 siblings. Carol is survived by 5 sons, Jerome Teschendorf of Oklahoma City, Bruce Teschendorf and Steve Teschendorf, both of Keystone Heights, David Teschendorf (Tina) of Wellborn and Doug Teschendorf (Tina) of Middleburg, 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 28, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Interlachen with Father Pablo Fuentes as officiant.

Burial will follow at PineView Cemetery in Interlachen. No visitation is scheduled. Memories and condolences may be expressed to the family at Carol’s Book of Memories Page at www.
