Corrine’s Obituary The final chapter has been written and life’s responsibilities have been finished; being weary of the burdens of life, Corrine Althea DeMercado-Bradley succumbed when a Glorified Messenger was sent with orders to release her from her weakened body. On April 30, 2019, she entered into her Father’s house of many mansions where He has prepared a place for her. Corrine Althea DeMercado-Bradley, was born in Jamaica on January 31, 1967 to her mother Daphane Atkins.

She and her family came to the United States and settled in Los Angeles, California when she was 16 years old. She became a naturalized citizen in September 2010. It was in Los Angeles where she met her wonderful husband of 21 years, Keith Bradley.

They were married on February 14, 1998. Corrine worked in various areas of business, but she was most proud of her work as an Administrative Assistant working with active duty service members at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center, JBSA Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. She volunteered serving meals to the homeless on Saturdays with Haven for Hope in downtown San Antonio.

She was also a member of True Vine Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir. She is survived by her husband, Keith Bradley, her sons, Martin Castillo Jr., Chaz Michael Castillo, Isaiah Bradley, her stepson Karlyn Bradley, and by her dog Marcus, a Boxer and loyal companion. She is also survived by her mother, Daphane Atkins, her brothers Albert DeMercado and Emsley DeMercado and her sister Hyacinth (Honey) Atkins, and a host of nieces and nephews that she held dear to her heart.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Castle Hills Mortuary, 8008 Military Drive West, San Antonio, Texas 78227. Funeral services will be held on at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 9, 2019 at True Vine Baptist Church, 435 S. Ellison Drive, San Antonio, Texas 78245. Interment will be held at a later date in Los Angeles, California.
