Funeral services for Cosby Lee Barron, age 79 of Clarkesville will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Hillside Memorial Chapel, Clarkesville. Rev. Ronnie Powell will officiate and interment will follow the service in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Barron passed away November 4, 2018. Born in Clarkesville, Georgia on May 30, 1939, Mr. Barron was the son of the late Isaac Terrell Barron and Lizzie Kastner Barron. He was a self employed in farming, construction and pulpwood.

Mr. Barron was an avid coon hunter and he was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Barron is preceded in death by brothers Willie Barron and Isaac Terrell Barron, Jr, and sister Mildred Barron Barron. Survivors include wife Peggy Joe Free Barron of Clarkesville, daughter and son in law Shari and Roger Franklin of Mt.

Airy, son and daughter in law Joe and Sharon Barron of Clarkesville, brother Lloyd Barron of Demorest, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Those wishing may send condolences online at www.
