Curtis made his journey to the Spirit World on December 25, 2018 in Sioux Falls, SD. Curtis is survived by his sisters, Maxine Mesteth of Manderson, SD and and Amber Red Eagle of Rapid City, SD; brothers, Donald Hernandez, Jr. and Shane Mesteth; cousins, Ashley, M.J., George, Casey, Sandy, D.J., Rosie Lip, Heather Iron Cloud, and Robert “Baby Robert” Red Eagle, Jr.; aunts, Lori, Rachel and Lavonne Mesteth; nieces/nephews, Theresa Mesteth, Lilly Twiss, Christian Twiss, Trivion Grass and Brad, Yamni, Monique and Jordan Mesteth; and numerous friends and extended relatives.

Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard Ice and Christine Mesteth; brother, Marquis Mesteth; grandparents, Max and Cecelia Mesteth; and numerous aunts and uncles. Pallbearers will be: Carlos Romero, Jonathan Mesteth, Allen Mesteth, George Mesteth, Lillian Weasel Bear, Karen Tibbitts, Arlene Jumping Eagle and Michelle Woptura. Wake Services: Two night wake service starting at 1:00 PM.
