Leonard made his journey to the Spirit World on February 11, 2019 at his home in No Flesh Creek, near Kyle, SD. Leonard is survived by his wife, Rochelle Pourier-Ferguson; children, Vanessa (Alan) Ferguson-Metcalf, Tony (Cherlyn) Ferguson, and Natasha (Raymon) Ferguson-Rosales; grandchildren, Alaunna, Dallas, Memphis, Janaiya, Jaileah, Deondre, Isabella, Alejandra, Amaris, Raymon, Jr., Kamaira, Lennon, Amya, Danica, Olivia, Demetrius, Kiara, Isabel, and Nathan; mother, Evelyn Gregg, hunka mother/auntie, Ethel Kills Straight; siblings, Terry Little Whiteman, Carmen “Debbie” Apple, Darrell “Sam” Apple, Mark Apple, Todd Gregg, Lyle Ferguson, Toni Ferguson, Arlen Ferguson, Willie Ferguson, and Breanna Ferguson; and mother & father-in-law, Judy and Delbert Pourier.

Leonard was preceded in death by his father, Leonard “Boob” Ferguson; hunka father/uncle, Birgil Kills Straight; maternal grandparents, Louie and Betty Little Whiteman; and paternal grandparents, John and Alice Ferguson. Pallbearers will be Mark Cuny, Robin Janis, LaLa Briggs, Shane Clifford, Dustin Zimiga, Joey Rosales, Cory Ferguson, and Lance Christensen.
