Curtis was drafted into the Army and served his country in Vietnam from October 1965 to October 1967. Curtis retired from the Oklahoma City Police Department in 1996, after 27 years of service.

There will be a memorial service to honor this great man’s life on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 in the chapel of Buchanan Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to Integris Hospice House located at 13920 Quailbrook Dr. in OKC, 73134.
