OBITUARY Curtis William Peters September 19, 1939 – July 14, 2018 Curtis W. Peters was reborn to a new life on Saturday, July 14. He was born September 19th, 1939 in Lake City, Minnesota. Curt was loved and admired by many and is survived by his loyal wife Sue Caughman, his sister, Kathy (Jerry) Benedix of La Porte, Minnesota, his devoted stepchildren, Todd and Brooke Theriot of Castle Rock, Colorado, Dana and Scott Meacham of Denver, Colorado, and Craig and Julia Theriot of Carmel Indiana.

Curt graduated from Stout University of Wisconsin after serving four years in the United States Air Force. While attending Stout University, Curt Majored in industrial Technology and was elected to Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities. He volunteered consistently for Habitat For Humanity, served in the choir at Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, Carmel Indiana and was a black diamond skiing champ skier.

Curt was kind and helpful to all who knew him and a true gentleman. Arrangements are entrusted to Olinger Andrews Funeral Home, Castle Rock, Colorado.
