Curtiss was born on 2/13/51 in Washington DC. He passed away on Saturday 10/20/18 at approximately 5:22pm at the age of 67. His father was Curtiss Hazel Rodgers II and his mother was Betty Sue Smith.

Both are deceased. He is survived by a friend in South Carolina; Tracy Snipes. He was supported by The Arc Montgomery County since 1976 in Community Living Services formerly Residential Services.

He also received services in the Arc Montgomery County Vocational Services since 1994. He was an honorary Deacon at St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church on Old Georgetown Road in Bethesda, MD. He was loved by everybody that knew him.

His close friends were Bob Grimm, Todd Lehman, and Lloyd Director.
