A graveside service for CW4 Jackie “Jack” Carlton Carroll (Ret), age 85 of Clarksville, will be Friday, Jun 01, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Ky Veteran’s West Cemetery. Jackie passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at his residence. He was born on Sep 01, 1932 in Harleston County, GA to Benjamin Leon Carroll and Gennie Mae Carroll.

Jack is a 34 year veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. He was a Lifetime Member of the Alabama Masonic Lodge, Lifetime Member of the National Sojourners and past president of the Ft. Campbell Chapter, member of Rizpah Shrine Club and past president of the Ft.

Campbell Chapter, Shrine Clown (Jocko), and an avid fisherman and hunter. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 5 brothers and 2 sons, Benjamin and Gary. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Kathryn Carroll; sister, Lela Cope; sons, Jackie (Darlene) Carroll Jr. and Robert (Bonnie) Carroll; daughter, Kathy (Kevin) Alspaugh; grandchildren, Jonathan Carroll, Mindy Sanchez, Kenny Carroll, Cathleen West, and Neal Alspaugh; 8 great-grandchildren; and fur babies, Lady and Ginger.
