Obituary for Cynthia Morse-Smith Graveside services for Cynthia Morse-Smith, age 68, of Tyler, Texas are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 28, 2018 in the Lindale City Cemetery with Rev. Robert Carter officiating. Services are under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale, Texas.

Cynthia died Monday, December 24, 2018 in a hospice center in Tyler, Texas. She was born on February 8, 1950 in Beaumont, Texas to the late Pandit Meher and Lola (Torres) Chand. Cynthia had previously worked as a radiologist and was a member of the Colonial Hills Baptist Church in Tyler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Morse on October 2, 2011 and by 10 brothers and sisters. Cynthia is survived by her husband, Larry Smith of Tyler, Texas; sons & daughter-in-law, Kenneth & Rachael Morse of Ogden, Utah and David Morse of Houston, Texas; granddaughter, Addison Rose Rodkey of Katy, Texas; sisters, Barbara Foster of Post Falls, Idaho, Carmen Patella of Sacramento, California, and Esther Carl of Fair Oak, California; brother, Daniel Chand of Lumberton, Texas; and loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale.
