Obituary for Daisy Shearer (Porter) Daisy Lee Shearer (Porter), 99, of Winnsboro, passed away September 26, 2018, surrounded by her loving family at Whispering Pines in Winnsboro, Texas. Daisy was born November 12, 1918 to the late Thomas Porter and Katie Porter (Driggers). Daisy was a long-time resident of Winnsboro and a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church.

Daisy was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. She enjoyed caring for her family and listening to music. Daisy was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Katie Porter; husband, John Shearer; sisters, Veta Lavender, Flossie Head, Louie Dale, and Elsie Martin; and son-in-law, Roy Henson.

Daisy is survived by her daughter, Norma Henson; grandchildren, Leslie Lindsey, Christopher Henson, Chad Henson, Brandon Henson, Kristen Cartwright, and Sheena Minick; nineteen great-grandchildren and seven great great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, September 30th, 2018 at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX 75494 at 2:00 pm, with Bro. Nub Brown conducting.

Internment will be at Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro, Texas with Christopher Henson, Chad Henson, Brandon Henson, Trevor Hammons , Logan Minick, Adin Henson, Will Cartwright, Ryan Minick, TJ White, and Buddy Lindsey as honorary pallbearers.
