OBITUARY Dale A. Lambert July 12, 1939 – September 1, 2018 Dale A. Lambert, 79, of Fort Wayne passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018. Dale was born on July 12, 1939 in Fort Wayne, a son of the late Russell and Josephine (Wahls) Lambert. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1958-1964.

He was a truck driver for Teamsters 414 and worked at General Electric for 27 years, retiring in 2003. He was a member of the American Legion and will be remembered as a hard worker, but primarily as a man that greatly loved and cared about his family. Surviving family include his daughters, Lori (Rob) Blough and Kristine Luley; son, Scott (Dawn) Lambert; grandchildren, Amy, Robbie, Austin, Haven, and Ford; and sister, Patricia.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his wife, Karen (Stahlhut) Lambert who passed in October 2005; and siblings, Jack, Harold, Audrey, and Ted. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Rd. , Fort Wayne with a gathering of family and friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
