The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Tim Mahler officiating. Interment will be at Oak City Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Bainbridge-Decatur County Humane Society, 1250 Cox Avenue, Bainbridge, GA 39819. Kenneth Dale Newberry was born October 11, 1954 in Bainbridge, GA, the son of Kenneth and Joanne Cloud Newberry. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1972.

He worked as an industrial electrician and was a member of IBEW Albany, GA. Dale was married to Annette Barton and attended First Church of the Nazarene. With a love of the outdoors and a curious nature, Dale could be found exploring somewhere.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing especially if it included cooking at a secret spot on the river. Dale never met a stranger and always had a story to share. He spent many days with his best friend/brother roaming the woods, riding the river or fixing on something.

No matter the challenge, you could count on Dale to smile, chuckle and do it his way. Survivors include his wife, Annette Newberry; his mother, Joanne Cloud Newberry; his brother, Keith Newberry and his wife, Carolyn; his son, Trey Faircloth and his wife, Christian; his grandchild, Kenny Moye; his very special nieces and nephews considered to be his children, Keith Newberry Jr., Cara & Jerry Gerdes and Kadee & Jeremy Whittington; and his great-nieces and nephews, Knox, Kirbo, Molly, Caroline, Grant and Milly. Dale was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth D. Newberry.
