DAMON EDWARD BROERMAN, 53, of Sidney passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 12:31 PM at his residence. He was born on June 9, 1965 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of late Elmer Broerman Jr. and Carol (Smith) Broerman Icenogle, who survives. He is survived by two siblings, Laura (Bob) Wilt of Sidney and David Broerman of Piqua; niece, Stephanie (Brett) Livingston of Toledo; nephew, Christopher Wilt of Sidney; uncle, Fred (Sharon) Smith of Sidney and Aunt, Elisabeth (Frank) Orehowski of Fairborn.

Mr. Broerman was the proud owner and operator of Broerman Service Center Inc, Elmer’s Towing and Rose Towing in Sidney for many years. His family and business were his life. Damon loved serving his customers in the community.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held Sunday July 29, 2018 from 2 PM to 4 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney. Burial will be held at Glen Cemetery in Port Jefferson at the family’s discretion at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to S.C.A.R.F. (Shelby County Animal Rescue Foundation) in Damon’s honor.
