Daniel K. Gorgey, age 70 of Jefferson Hills, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018 at LifeCare Hospitals of Pittsburgh – Suburban Campus in Bellevue. Born January 27, 1948 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Daniel and Agnes (Dolinsky) Gorgey. A retired Chemical Technician at Westinghouse’s Bettis Plant in West Mifflin, Daniel was a member of Ascension of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church in Clairton.

Daniel is survived by his daughter Kristine A. Gorgey of Pittsburgh, his sisters Joyce (Albert) Rosati of Hampden, MA and Gayle (Larry) Brody of Isle of Palms, SC, and also nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton on Monday, May 28, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM with a 7:30 PM Parastas Service. A Panachida Service will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 9:15 AM in the funeral home followed by processional to a 10:00 AM Funeral Liturgy in Ascension Church with Fr.

John Cuccaro officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
