Obituary for Daniel Lewis Silverberg Daniel passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday April 10, 2018 in Los Angeles, CA at the age of 53. Danny was predeceased by his father; Herbert Leonard Silverberg and mother; Marcella “Sunny” Cherry- Silverberg, Uncle; Bernard Silverberg, Aunt; Roslyn Silverberg Cooper, Aunt Caroline Cherry Wilkinson Oldham and cousin Billy Wilkinson. Danny is survived by his brother; Stanley Mark Silverberg, his Step-mother; Jeanne A. Silverberg, Aunt; Cynthia Silverberg and Step-Aunt(s); Susan Wedel and Pamela Dickerson.

Also survived by many cousins from Danny’s father’s side; Edward Silverberg (Sherri), David Silverberg (Kana) Lisa Silverberg-Staples (Grey) Marilyn Cooper-Goodrich; and Sylvia Cooper- Drew (Gene). More cousins from Danny’s mother’s side: Marcia Colette Wilkinson, Dody “Betty” Wilkinson, and Christie Wilkinson Schultz. Also step-cousins; Travis North, Cameron North, Eric Wedel, Collin Wedel Max Wedel, Breann Dickerson Campbell and Brandon Dickerson.

In addition, Danny left behind dozens of 2nd cousins and many cherished life-long friends. Danny attended the U of AZ graduating with a B.S. in Business Administration with High Distinction and was an AEPi. Danny later received his JD from Boalt Hall School of Law at Berkley Law School.

His law school honors included Moot Court Oralist Commendation and the James Patterson McBaine Honors Moot Court Competition. Danny was a member of the State Bars of California and Arizona and he was admitted to practice in all Districts of California, including the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the State of California. Prior to joining Price Law Group (Encino, California), Danny was a successful trial lawyer in Tucson and Phoenix, Arizona where he worked on personal injury and medical mal-practice litigation matters.

In his spare time, Danny loved to travel. An unfortunate accident in 2002 halted his full-time law career. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Debbie Walker (his caregiver, neighbor and friend) who provided loving care and companionship for the last 10 years.

Danny was a brilliant, creative, witty and compassionate young man whose potential was barely tapped. Danny’s life was not only what we saw and what we remember – it is what we feel and that will never be forgotten. Rabbi Eisen will be officiating at a private service for family and close friends.
