Daniel Merrill Elenbaum December 09, 1968 – May 24, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation With deepest sorrow, we announce that Daniel Merrill Elenbaum (Dan) at the age of 50 passed suddenly on Friday, May 24, 2019 in his home in St. Louis, Michigan. He was a beloved son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. Dan was born December 9, 1968 in Caro, Michigan.

He grew up on the family’s dairy farm in Mayville. Dan was a 1987 graduate of Mayville High School who was very active in sports as well as the school band. On February 28, 2013 he married his wife, Karri (Barry) Bouchard.

Dan had a special way of speaking to others that could bring light into any situation. He always walked into the room with a smile on his face just to leave behind joy in other’s hearts when he walked out. Dan affected many people in his lifetime.

He owned Dan’s Ag Repair business, showing how committed he was to helping local Farmers. Dan was proud of his children and loved spending time with his grandchildren. His hobbies included watching and playing sports, politics, and traveling.

He leaves behind his wife, Karri of St. Louis; his parents, Ronald and Marilyn Elenbaum; his children, Elizabeth (Jeremy) Bayon of Milford, Connecticut, Miranda Elenbaum of Elkton, Kristen (Chaz) Auten of Cass City, Caleb Elenbaum of Whittemore and Trinity Hodder of Caro; his step children, Timothy Bouchard of Saginaw and Chelsey Bouchard of Lansing; his six grandchildren, Isabella, Evelyn and Alexander Bayon, Laina and Paul Auten and Kallie Elenbaum; his two brothers, Timothy (Kerry) Elenbaum of Caro and Thomas (Sherri) Elenbaum of Mayville; two sisters, Kimberly (Paul) Taylor of Mayville and Nancy (David) Leming of Markle, Indiana; his in laws, William and Nancy Seddon; and his three sisters-in-law; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Dan is now with his son, Jeffery Thomas Elenbaum; granddaughter, Lilian Jane Auten; grandparents, Merrill & Wilma Elenbaum and Harry & Ileen Kuhl. He is loved here on earth as well as in heaven.

A Visitation will be held at Mills Memorial Baptist Church from 11:00-1:00 PM on Saturday, June 1, 2019. The Funeral will be held at 1:00 PM with a luncheon to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund.
