Obituary for Daniel Tinney Daniel Tinney, 42, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away October 28, 2018. Daniel was born in Denver, Colorado on June 23, 1976 to Robert and Katherine Tinney. The family moved to Cheyenne in 1980.

Dan graduated from East High School in 1994 then welcomed his first daughter, Brianna, in July 1994. His second daughter, Chaisley, was born in January 2006. Dan had many friends.

He played softball, enjoyed the outdoors, liked to hunt and spend time at the lake. In 1995 he began working at Cheyenne Light, Fuel and Power, and he remained with the company through the transition to Black Hills Energy. He eventually became the manager of gas operations.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Misty; daughters, Brianna Sevilla and Chaisley Tinney; step-children, Dustin and Hailey Reimer; siblings, Suzy and Chris Tinney; father, Robert Tinney; niece and nephews, Marc, Sean, Zack, Isaiah, and Mariah; and his grandson, Bryan. He is preceded in death by his mother, Katherine; grandparents, Don and Alice Unger, Jack and Vesta Tinney; and his uncle, Bruce Unger. A memory service will be celebrated on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.

A reception will follow at the Kiwanis Community House. This unexpected death has taken an amazing man way too soon. He will be missed.
