Obituary for Patricia Kay Wilkinson (Brown) Patricia Kay Brown Wilkinson, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away on October 25, 2018 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She was born on July 30, 1952, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was the daughter of Justice Charles Stuart and Jane Hurst Brown.

Pat grew up in Star Valley and Kemmerer, Wyoming, graduating from Kemmerer High School in 1970. She attended Weber State College in Ogden, Utah, and married Richard A. Mills on June 2, 1972. They divorced in 1984.

She married David L. Wilkinson on December 24, 1985. Pat earned an associate degree in nursing from Laramie County Community College and had worked at hospitals in Garland, Texas; Denver, Colorado, and Cheyenne, Wyoming before her retirement. She was well-known for her patience, compassion and cheerfulness, serving her family, friends and patients with the same loving care.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served in many callings. In addition to her family, Pat was passionate about her needlework. She created many beautiful counted cross stitch works.

In addition to her husband, David L. Wilkinson of Cheyenne, Pat is survived by her two sons and their families, Gregory S. Mills, his wife, Kathy, and their sons, Clayton, Cody and Cooper of Brighton, Colorado, and Robert P. Mills, his wife Erica, and their children, Tommy and Kelly of Broomfield, Colorado; a stepdaughter and her husband, Kristi and David Nickel of Shelby Township, Michigan; a stepson and his family, Michael Wilkinson, his wife, Silvia, and their children, Ian, Angela and Olivia of Provo, Utah; her mother, Jane Hurst Brown of Cheyenne; three sisters, Julia Gibson of Dallas, Texas, Helen (Tim) Curry of Vancouver, Washington, and Virginia (John) Evans of Hemet, California; two brothers, Dr. James S Brown (Barbara) of University Place, Washington, and Robert W Brown (Cynthia) of Saratoga Springs, Utah; a brother-in-law, Paul Christensen of Logan, Utah; extended family members, and her faithful dog, Henry. She was preceded in death by her father, C. Stuart Brown; two sisters, Ann Christensen and Colleen Brown; two brothers, Charles and Hugh Brown, and a brother-in-law, Dan Gibson. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 2, 2018, viewing 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service 11:00 a.m. at the Cheyenne, Wyoming, Stake Center, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 309 Western Hills Blvd, Cheyenne, WY.
