Obituary of Dan Kammerdiener Dan Lee Kammerdiener was born on January 7, 1970, in Anchorage, Alaska and passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, in Waco, TX after struggling with declining health for many years. Dan lost his battle due to cardiac arrest, secondary to asperation pnuemonia. A celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 13, 3 pm at Forest Ridge Memorial Park Chapel 8525 Mid Cities Blvd.

North Richland Hills, Texas 76182. Dan was a loving husband, father, brother, son, and uncle. He was a talented jeweler, music enthusiast, animal lover, and collector of all things avant-garde.

Dan met his soulmate and best friend on October 2, 1999. Both Dan and Marlene realized instantly that they were meant to be together. They were married a year later on October 27, 2000.

Both shared a love and passion for all things related to Halloween and enjoyed traveling to all places that were “haunted” as well as attending Texas Frightmare Weekend every year. Their lives forever changed in August 2005 when Aylah came into their lives at the age of two. Aylah became a permanent part of their family in May 2007 after her adoption was finalized.

Aylah was everything to Dan. She was his princess and had him wrapped around her little finger. Dan never met a stranger.

He had a skill of striking a conversation with anyone and would have to be coaxed away-otherwise he would sit and talk for hours. Dan was loved by many and will be forever missed. He will always have a special place in our hearts and mind.

Dan is survived by his loving wife of 18 years Marlene; one daughter, Aylah Layne; two sisters, Kay Bacon and Jo Kammerdiener; Mother-in-law, Merle Cornish; two Sisters-in-law, Allison (Wes), and Ashley; several nieces and nephews, Robert, Pam, Nathan, Aaron, Marcus, Jason, Lilly, and Anthony. Dan is preceded in death by his parents; Robert Kammerdiener and Wanda Brown, Brother; Jay, Sister; Dee, Father-in-law Alan Cornish, and Brother-in-law Jack. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested via Facebook Fundraiser page to help Marlene and Aylah.
