Danny’s Obituary Danny Cox Ford quietly passed in his sleep in the late hours of Saturday, February 16, 2019. Danny was born in Charleston, West Virginia on April 13, 1952, the second of three sons to Harold (Harry) and Mary Alice Ford. Growing up, Danny formed a lifelong bond and built many lasting memories with his brother Harry Lee (elder surviving brother) and Ricky (younger brother deceased).

Upon relocating to Daytona in the early 1980’s, Danny found employment with two well known and established charter fleets in Ponce Inlet, combining his love for fishing and skill as a charter fisherman. Later in life, Danny pursued a career in a medical profession, obtaining his license as a massage therapist and establishing a massage therapy business, The Ford Group LMT, with his then wife Aurora Ford, in Ormond Beach and worked there until his retirement in 2012. Danny was a loving father and is survived by his daughters, Amanda Tully of Charleston, SC, Jessica Ford and husband Michael Roy of Oklahoma City, OK, and Allison Ford of Altamonte Springs, FL.

In addition to loving the times spent with family and pets, he especially enjoyed numerous vacations and building memories with his daughters and ex-wife. Danny also enjoyed countless hours on his motorcycle, and keeping fit by working out, fishing and bicycling. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at 11:00 AM.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. A reception will be held directly afterwards for friends and family to gather.
