OBITUARY Danny McClain Gaines March 8, 1957 – November 8, 2018 Mr. Danny McLain Gaines, 61 of Salisbury passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at his home. Born on March 8, 1957, he was the son of the late Dewey Gaines and Mildred Scercy Homan. Educated in the Rowan County Schools, he was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Gaines worked for Gildan Yarns in Salisbury as a Facility Maintenance Manager. He enjoyed going camping, fishing and riding motorcycles. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 19 years, Kaye Morgan Gaines, as well as his daughter Brooke Freeman and brother Jody Gaines and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:00 till 2:30 pm at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove, with funeral to follow at 2:30 also at the funeral home with Pastor Brad Lynch, officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society,1901 Brunswick Ave.
