Darl R. Eck, 86, of East Brady passed away Oct. 22 at ACMH. Mr. Eck was a favorite teacher to many students during his 30-year career as a teacher at East Brady High School.

A US Army veteran, he served during the Korean Era and was a recipient of the Good Conduct Medal and the National Service Defense Medal. He was also a past commander of the Bishop-Madden Post #488 of the American Legion in Bradys Bend. Surviving to honor his memory are his two sons John and Paul Eck, a granddaughter Alexa Armstrong, a brother and sister in law Robert and his wife Ann Marchiori, sister in law Judy Marchiori, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Josephine (Marchiori) Eck and his brother Donald Stewart. Services and burial at St. Eusebius cemetery will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. East Brady, PA.
