Obituary for Darrel Leo Darrel Leo, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the age of 70. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Leo and Vera Grabert Leo. He is the beloved husband of 47 years of JoAlice Kinler Leo.

He is the loving father of Jeff Leo (Jennifer), Bridget Leo Untereiner (Darren), and Jonathan Leo. He is the devoted grandfather of Sean Bromley, Blake Leo, Paytin Leo, Caleb Untereiner, Logan Leo, and Paxton Leo. He is the beloved brother of Mary Jane Dupuis (Rodney), Ronnie Leo, Violet Dickinson (Roy), Keith Leo, and Minnie Gehringer (Bob).

He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He retired from Boilermakers Local # 37 after years of dedicated service. An avid Saints fan, Darrel was a devoted family man.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A special thanks to the compassionate staff of the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Hospital and the Passages Hospice for their dedicated care. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Monday, November 19, 2018 beginning at 11:00AM followed by a Memorial Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA.
