Obituary for Darrell D. Davis II Darrell Dean Davis II, age 50, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away December 18, 2018 at his residence after a long illness. He was born April 10, 1968 in Robinson, Illinois, the son of Darrell Dean Davis and Phyllis Sullivan Faulkenberry. Shortly after his birth, the family moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and that is where he lived until returning to Illinois about a year and a half ago.

Darrell was a long-haul truck driver for 30 years. He was a NASCAR fan, and enjoyed fishing and riding his moped. Preceding him in death were his parents; maternal grandparents; paternal grandparents; one brother, Robert; and four uncles.

Surviving relatives include two brothers, Rodney and Michael P. Faulkenberry both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; step-father, Bennie Nichols of McCloud, Oklahoma; two aunts, Delilah Gray and Charlene Perry both of Lawrenceville, Illinois; and one uncle, Sammy Davis of Freedom, Indiana. Darrell’s wishes were to be cremated, with no formal services. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
