Darrell Edward Lane, 56, of Vinton, OH, passed away May 14, 2019 at home. He was born November 12, 1962 in Ronceverte, WV, to the late James and Jean Lane. He was also preceded in death by his daughter in law Amber Dawn Lane and his faithful Dog, Jake.

Darrell served honorably in the Marine Corps, and worked for USF Holland as a professional freight relocator. He loved to fish and ride his Harley’s. He is survived by his son Darrell Lane II of Fraziers Bottom; sisters, Lois Withrow (James) of Winfield and Gay Logston (David) of Charleston; brother, Mark Lane of Kernersville, NC; many nieces and nephews; many friends including Rick Jordan, Bruce Williams and Rick Doss; and many other extended family and friends.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Saturday May 18, 2019 at Chapman Funeral Home, Hurricane. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Peterstown Cemetery, Peterstown, WV.
