Darwin L. Pace, age 70, of Council Bluffs, passed away February 4, 2019 at River City Nursing and Rehabilitation in Omaha. Darwin was born on August 22, 1948 in Des Moines, Iowa to the late Earl D. and Helen L. (Baldwin) Pace. He graduated from Indianola, Iowa High School in 1966 and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army (security agency) during the Vietnam War (1968-1972).

Darwin was a tenured electronics professor at Metro Community College for 15 years, retiring in 2015.
