Ione Evelyn (Erickson) Lee, age 98, of Council Bluffs, passed away March 17, 2019 at Risen Son Christian Village. Ione was born June 24, 1920, in Ogden, Iowa to Erick L. and Ida (Gustafson) Erickson. She graduated from Ogden High School in 1937.

Ione married Oliver F. (Abe) Lee on November 10, 1943 in Salina KS. They traveled extensively across the US with his work and settled in Council Bluffs in the mid-1950’s. Ione was a Girl Scout leader.
