Obituary for David A Dumont Pawleys Island…David A. Dumont David A. Dumont age 89, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital. Born in Malone, NY, he was a son of the late Ellis and Cora Dumont. Mr. Dumont was a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed being around his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Dumont was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Dumont. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, K.Clare Dumont; a daughter, Jennifer (David) Pankau; four sons, Michael (Sharon) Dumont, Boyd (Suzanne) Dumont, Stephen (Jamie) Dumont, Gregory (Tracy) Dumont; twenty two grandchildren; six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Friday, October 5th at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Litchfield/Pawleys Island Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church or to Georgetown Hospice.
