David A. Pine, 69, of Walton, passed away at 5:00 am Monday, November 12, 2018 at his home. He was born November 9, 1949 in Kokomo to Russell L. and Carol E. (Moore) Pine. He married Debra Hoover on April 22, 1972 in Kokomo and she survives.

David retired from Chrysler in 2004 with 36 years service as a test car driver. He served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of UAW local #685 in Kokomo and enjoyed fishing and farming.

Surviving family include his wife Debra Pine of Walton. His sons, Jason Pine, John (Brittney) Pine and Josh (Misty) Pine; grandchildren, Kyla, Keaton, Jaydyn, Taylor, Grayson, Konner and Summer. His siblings, Ruth Ann (Fred) Hawkins, Phyllis (Ron) Lindley, Joe (Lilet) Pine, Dan (Melody) Pine, sister-in-law, Sherrie Pine and brother in law, Gordon Hofman.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, one son, Jeffrey, sister, Joyce Hofman and brother Russell D. Pine. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston with Pastor Jerry Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Kokomo.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the time of services at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the wounded warrior project. PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517 Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston has been entrusted with arrangements.
