David Alan McIntyre, age 51, formerly of Ann Arbor and Dexter, passed away October 16, 2018. David was born May 31, 1967 In Indianapolis, Indiana the son of Thomas and Martha (Warner) McIntyre. David graduated from Carmel High School, Carmel, Indiana and Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana.

He was employed by Farm Bureau Insurance in Noblesville, Ind. and later owned Destin Mortgage in Fishers, Ind. When he moved to Michigan he continued as a Financial Planner and became a part-time caretaker.

David was a kind and generous person with a big heart always trying to help others and “pay it forward”. He was a stranger to no one, a friend to all and many felt he was a huge sensitive spirit clothed in the everyday. David is survived by his parents; sisters, Lisa (Jim) Fredericksen of Buffalo, Minnesota and Carol (Rob) Benedict of Ann Arbor; nieces, Valerie Benedict and Dana Fredericksen and nephew, Erik Fredericksen.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private memorial will be held at a later date. Condolences to the family may be made online at www. pursefuneralhome.com.
