David Allen Bogart, age 34, of Erwin, Tennessee passed away on March 13, 2019 in Blountville, Tennessee. He was born on September 9, 1984 in Johnson City, Tennessee, a son of James and Patty Bogart. He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis James Bogart.

David enjoyed fishing with his father at Douglas Lake and loved to go to all of the Unicoi County girls’ softball and basketball games. Along with these hobbies, he was also an avid collector of keys. He is survived by his mother, June Marie (Patty) Bogart, a brother, Brian Bogart (Nicole), and special nieces, Samantha and Sarabeth Bogart.

At his request, David will be cremated and a private celebration of his life will be conducted by his family and friends at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Center at 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105. Memories and condolences may be made at www.
