David C. “Dave” Lukens October 04, 1955 – February 24, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card David C. “Dave” Lukens, 63, of North Wales, PA passed away peacefully at his home on February 24, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of 42 years to Sharon (nee Louquet) Lukens, with whom he was united in marriage on November 6, 1976. Born October 4, 1955 in Lansdale, PA he was the son of the late Ruth (nee Baum) Lukens and the late Charles I. Lukens, Jr. Dave was a 1973 graduate of North Penn High School and a longtime employee for over 40 years of the former Lauchmen Printing Company of Lansdale, and had most recently been employed at Isabelle’s Kitchen in Harleysville.

He enjoyed being an avid bowler and fisherman, bike riding, spending time outdoors, but most of all, spending time with his family. Dave will always be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, and brother. In addition to his wife, Dave is also survived by his children, Kimberly Lindaberry (Jamie), of Quakertown, Robert Lukens, of Lansdale, and Christopher Lukens, of Hatfield, his sister, Kathy Lukens, of Kamuela, HI, and his mother-in-law, June Louquet, of Lansdale.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday morning, March 2, 2019 from 8:30-10:00 AM at Huff & Lakjer Funeral home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446 where his Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park in Ambler, PA. The family has respectfully requested that all flowers be omitted, and that those desiring to do so may make a memorial contribution in Dave’s name to the Home At Last Dog Rescue, PO Box 1341, North Wales, PA 19454 and which would be deeply appreciated by his family.
