James P. Edelman August 14, 1967 – February 16, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Sympathy Card James P. Edelman, 51, of Hatfield, PA, husband of Jennifer L. (nee Merkel) Edelman passed away suddenly on February 16, 2019 at Abington-Lansdale Hospital in Lansdale, PA. Born August 14, 1967 in Allentown, PA he was the son of Marjorie (nee Jones) Edelman, of Slatington, PA and the late Daniel Edelman. Jim was a 1985 graduate of Northern Lehigh High School in Slatington, and he also attended Lincoln Tech in Allentown.

At the time of his death he had been employed as an Electronic Technician by Teledyne Technologies Inc. of Montgomeryville. Jim will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. In addition to his wife and mother, Jim is also survived by his children, Sarah and Jeremy Edelman, his sisters, Nancy Reese, of Palmerton, Donna Eckhart (Al), of Albrightsville, and Linda Schellhamer (Dean), of Slatington, and his nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 9:00-11:00 AM at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446 where his Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM. The family has respectfully requested that all flowers be omitted, and that those desiring to do so may make a memorial contribution in Jim’s name to the American Heart Association, 1617 JFK Boulevard, Suite 700, Philadelphia, PA 19103 and which would be deeply appreciated by his family.
