OBITUARY David Devitt June 2, 1946 – October 21, 2018 David Devitt, age 72, of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018. David was born June 2, 1946 in Mobile, Alabama to Leverne Pierce DeVitt and Floyd Woodrow Dewitt. David is survived by his wife of 27 years, Cassie DeVitt; children, Dana Rummage, Brett (Jennifer) DeVitt, Ashley McKnight, and Scarlett (Paul) Abila; grandchildren, Taylor Devitt, Blake Rummage, Emily DeVitt, Lara Abila, Juliana Abila, Ciara Abila, Parker Abila, Garrett Abila, Walker Abila, Natalie Abila, and Marina Abila; and brother, James Earl Devitt.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Woodrow Dewitt and Leverne Pierce DeVitt. A graveside service for David will occur Thursday, October 25, 2018, at 2:30 p.m. at Alabama State Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery followed by interment.
