David Donald Don Arnsan , September 10, 1949 — June 24, 2018

David Donald “Don” Arnsan 68, of Whiteville died Sunday, June 24, 2018. He was born September 10, 1949 in Detroit Michigan the son of the late David Leroy Arnsan and Jane Virginia Parsley Arnsan. Don’s love for Radio began when he was 16 years old.

He took a correspondence course from the Columbia School of Broadcasting. He began his career in California at a small FM station. Don was a Radio Broadcaster for 54 years serving many Radio Stations and their communities he was known as “Master of the Airway”.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Bailey Arnsan and his parents. He is survived by three sons, Robert Thompson, O’Neil Thompson, and Chris Simmons and wife, Kelsie all of Whiteville; a daughter, Summer Bailey and husband, Shane of Whiteville; a brother, Dan Arnsan and wife, Barbara of Superior, MT; grandchildren, Jayden Thompson, Jenna Thompson, Kristlyn Thompson, Veronica Thompson, Braylyn Thompson, Madisyn Reynolds, Blake Thompson, Bentlee Thompson, Conner Thompson, Troy Simmons, Tanner Jones, and Payzlee Bailey.
