Mr. Rossie Ward, 80 of Whiteville died Tuesday, July 17, 2018. He was born July 13, 1938 in Columbus County, the son of the late Lawson Ward and Golie Lee Ward. He was formerly employed with Hill’s Grocery.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma Lee Ward; a daughter, Renee Ward Blackman and husband, Wesley of Whiteville; three grandchildren, Jacob Miller of Whiteville, Sarah Ivey Ward of Evergreen and Lawson Ward of Evergreen; a sister, Nancy Hardee of Elizabethtown.
