Armond David Carter 78, of Whiteville, died Wednesday, November 28, 2018. He was born May 18, 1940 in Columbus County, the son of the late Armond Graham Carter, Jr. and Aline Ward Carter. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Carter was a Veteran who served in the United States Army and worked as a Construction Designer. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Williams Carter of the home; two sons David Graham Carter of Whiteville, Chris Carter and wife, Janice of Spartanburg; brothers, Jerry Carter and wife, Dorothy of Whiteville, Buster Carter and wife, Genie of Whiteville; sister, Donna Carter Rich and husband, Ed of Spartanburg; six grandchildren, Alexis Carter, Ashley Carter, Sarah Carter, Emily Carter, Anna Carter, and Miles Carter. His funeral service will be 2:30 pm Saturday, December 1, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Whiteville by Rev.
