David Edgar Troutman, 73, of Burnsville, NC, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018 at the VA Hospital in Asheville. He was born on August 15, 1945 in Mitchell County, NC to the late Claude Troutman and Dovie Mae Ledford Troutman. David was a United States Army Veteran, worked in sales and real estate and was a member of The Church of God.

He leaves behind his wife of 45 years, Annette Watts Troutman. A memorial service will be held at a later date by the family. Penland Family Funeral Home is honored to be caring for the Troutman Family.
