Obituary for David Elton Delaney David E. Delaney, known to friends and family as “Frog,” passed away on December 17, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Born October 20th, 1940 in Marshall to Clifford and Arlene (Wilson) Delaney. He graduated from Marshall High School in 1958.
Employed at Eaton Corporation in Marshall for 37 years. He was a well-respected Machine Repairman. Both young and old enjoyed his presence, knowledge and wit.
After his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his wife and family most but also a few round table meetings at Copper or Riverside. He enjoyed building picnic tables, bird houses and other various wood workings. Being outdoors hunting and fishing were his favorite pass times with his sons.
He even got two monster bucks with his bow & arrow in one week! David is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Murriel “Skeeter” (Collins), sons David “Gator” (Diana), Scott (Tina), Bob (Melissa), Mike (Kelly), Jeff (Ann), 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Betty Ann (John) Brisson and Kathy (Doug) DeVine both of Marshall.
