Obituary for Eliza Mae Flood (Hervey) We sadly announce the passing of Eliza Mae Flood; Mae to friends & family. Mae was born 92 years ago in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. She graduated from Langston University in 1948.

In 1950, she married Alfred Flood, they had four children. Mae was a social worker for 23 years. When she retired, she was a volunteer at Leila Hospital for 27 years.

Mae loved gardening and was a whiz at playing bridge. She is survived by those children; Darrell Flood, Randy Flood, Deidre Flood Jenkins (Anthony) and Erika Flood. Sisters; Thelma Waggoner and Scarlett Gordon, a brother, Duke Johnson and a host of nieces and nephews, also survive her.

The Memorial will take place on Thursday, December 20, 2018,at 11:00AM at Mt. Zion A ME Church, 364 W. Van Buren Street, Battle Creek MI. Repast will follow the ceremony, at the church.
