OBITUARY David M Deckman January 22, 1960 – November 1, 2018 David M. Deckman, age 58, passed away unexpectedly November 1, 2108 with his loving family at his side. He is the loving husband for 35 years to Joella Deckman; proud father to Matthew and Adam Deckman; cherished son to Dolores and the late Richard Deckman, brother to the late Rich, late Shelby, and Peggy (David) Draksler, uncle to many nieces and nephews, and a friend to many. David was enjoying retirement after 30 years of service with Chicago Press.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 10 am until 2 pm at Andrew J. McGann & Son Funeral Home (10727 S. Pulaski Rd; Chicago, IL 60655).
