David M. “Dave” Provo, age 72, of Minneapolis, formerly of Maple Lake, died Friday, April 20, 2018 at Health Services in Hopkins. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. A private burial ceremony will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.

David Michael Provo was born February 19, 1946 in St. Cloud to Emery J. and Evelyn M. (Geyen) Provo. He was raised in Maple Lake and graduated with the class of 1964. Dave served in the US Army during Vietnam from 1968-70.

He worked in the real estate business most of his life in various cities, most recently in Minneapolis. Dave loved all sports, golfing, reading and history. He is survived by special friend Mary Kaminski of Minneapolis; sisters Betty Huncha of Delano, Katie Hofman of Maple Lake and Karen Provo of Monticello; brothers Al (Evie) of Maple Grove and Gary (Kay) of Apple Valley.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Don and Mike.
