David Pierotte , August 26, 1960 — August 29, 2018

David Russell Pierotte, age 78, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2018. He was born on July 8, 1940 in Hanford, California to Dan and Lesta Pierotte. Dave moved to Santa Maria as a young teen.

He graduated from Santa Maria High School in 1958. He met his future wife Mary Ann Murray, and they married on August 26, 1960. They raised their 3 children in Santa Maria.

He was known for his humor and kindness. His friends and family knew they could always count on him for anything, anytime, anywhere. He was an adoring “Papa” who spent countless hours playing with his grandchildren.

During his later years, Dave found comfort and unconditional love from his adored pets. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Dan Pierotte Jr. and his loving wife Mary Ann Pierotte. He leaves behind his two sisters Marjorie Quaid, and Marilyn Piceno.

His son David Pierotte and Ellen, Daughter Lisa Moreci, her husband Dave, and his daughter Michele Osborne. His beloved grandchildren Justin, Nicole, Tony, Gino, Sara, and Chris. We are forever grateful to Jodi, Mike, and Kaidyn who became his “everyday” family and cared and loved him like their own.
