David R. Braman, 62, of Belding, passed away Thursday evening July 12, 2018 in Rockford under the loving care of his family and Holland Hospice. David was born on October 17, 1955 in Greenville, the son of Royce D. and Nellie G. (Camp) Braman. David graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 1974.

He later entered the US Navy serving for 14 years. He worked many years as a foreman at Extruded Metals in Belding and later Rothbury Farms in Grand Rapids. He loved to ride motorcycles and was a past member of the American Legion Post #203 in Belding.

David attended Montcalm Community College earning an associates degree. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. David is loved and survived by his family; stepchildren Matt (Kylee) Johnson of Rockford, Chris (Sandra) Shindorf of Belding, grandchildren; Ashlee, Logan, Mya and Madelyn, siblings; William (Dawn) Braman of Florida, Dan (Shirley) Braman of Cadillac, Lori Braman of Belding and Royce (Sharlene) Braman of Rockford.

David was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be 11:00 Am Thursday July 19, 2018 at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding with Pastor Mike Simmons officiating. Committal prayers and full military honors will follow in Easton Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday July 18, 2018 at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer or Holland Hospice. Messages of condolence may also be given at the website of the funeral home; www.
