Obituary for David R. Lewis David Ray Lewis, 70, of Old Town passed away December 23, 2018. Mr. Lewis was born June 2, 1948 to the late John and Editha Lewis, but had lived in the Old Town area since 1992 after moving here from Riverview, FL. He had been a commercial fisherman on the Suwannee River and was a member of the Suwannee River Moose Lodge No.

325 in Fanning Springs. Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife of ten years Tammy Lewis, his sons Scott Lewis (Lisa), John Lewis (Katie), Lonnie Perry (Lissett), and Joe Johnson, his daughters Lora Acker (Grant) and Melissa Johnson, his step-daughters Mary Rhodes (Blaine), Katie Boyington (Mathew), and Jamie Boyington (Luis), his brothers Bob Lewis and Billy Lewis, his sisters Connie Simmons, Linda Ligman, Vicki Gray, and Shirley Huber, eight grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and other extended family members. Funeral services for Mr. Lewis will be held 2:00 PM Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Rick Gooding Funeral Home Cross City Chapel.

Interment will follow in Cross City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Arrangements have been placed under the care of Rick Gooding Funeral Home Cross City, Florida 352-498-5400 and Chiefland, Florida 352-493-0050.
