OBITUARY David Richard Bonneywell June 10, 1959 – September 13, 2018 David passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep on September 13th after recently being diagnosed with throat and lung cancer. He was born in Everett June 10,1959. He was preceded in death by his father George (Bill) Bonneywell and is survived by his mother Ida Bonneywell, his sister Joanne Johnson, his brother Bill (Peggy) Bonneywell, his nephews Michael and Richard Johnson, Matt Bonneywell, and his niece Krystal Johnson and various other family members.

David graduated from Snohomish High School in 1977 with one of his fondest memories playing on the Snohomish Panther football team that year when they won the championship. He attended Everett Community College for a short time and went on to eventually work at Precision Air Motives for over 30 years. He loved sports, especially college sports and the Washington Huskies in particular.

He grew up playing baseball, football and basketball and went on to coach youth sports in Snohomish for several years with and eventually without his dad. He is still remembered even years later by many now grown men who he coached as children. Especially those that played for him on the Snohomish Raiders football team.

He also played and went on to help coach men’s softball. He was an avid bowler starting at an early age and was revered by many over the years by his skill and ability to almost effortlessly throw a strike. He enjoyed leisure time near home most often at One-Eyed Jack’s as well as a few other areas close to home meeting new people, making and maintaining lasting friendships.

He is remembered as being a great guy, a good friend and always willing to lend a hand to those in need. David will definitely be missed by his family and all that were lucky to get to know him. David will live on in the hearts of those that loved him forever.

A remembrance service will be held at United Methodist church in Snohomish on October 6th at 2pm. Dress casual.
